Mombasa “dog” porn suspects released on bail

11 women who were last week arrested over pornography have now been freed on a Ksh 100,000 bond each.

A foreigner,Christopher Clement who was also arrested and charged alongside the women has also been freed on a Ksh 1M bond.

The 12 suspects are facing 3 charges including exploitation of prostitution and another charge of living on earnings of prostitution contrary to the law.

The 12 suspects were arraigned before Senior Principal Magistrate Richard Odenyo.

The 12 were arrested in Mombasa’s prestigious Nyali estate after they were allegedly found by police shooting pornographic film with a dog.

Cameras and laptops were confiscated and later the 11 women and a foreigner were arraigned in a Mombasa court today.

Police are still looking for a Kenyan woman accused of collaborating with Clement to produce pornographic materials for sale internationally.

Police are looking into the possibility that the woman from Karatina and the Swiss National, a former employee of the United Nations, could be at the centre of the illicit trade.
